Safety information

The tourist paths of the Rhön are mostly used by other active people (hikers, mountain bikers, cyclists, walkers, horse riders, cross-country skiers, etc.).

We ask all active nature sports enthusiasts to show consideration for one another. Of course, the same applies to nature - it is worth protecting. In the Rhön, nature sports should therefore only be practiced in daylight on designated paths and areas.

Getting there

The starting point of the tour can be reached via the A7. To do this, leave the autobahn at exit 92 Fulda-Mitte. Here you drive on the B458 in the direction of Hilders. This one drives to the T-junction in Batten. Here you turn left to Hilders, the next town after Batten. Then take the first turn on the right and drive into the center of Hilder. Here you follow the signs to Simmershausen or Frankenheim. Just outside of Hilders, turn right towards Frankenheim and a short time later you will reach the hikers' car park, which is on the right-hand side of the road.
