On the hiking trail we walk at the foot of the Winterberg with a wonderful view of Hilders and the Ulstertal.

Down the valley via Marktstrasse and Bahnhofstrasse to the Ulsterbrücke - past the start of the Milseburg cycle path - then right up the "Birkenweg" - along the edge of the forest to the "Kiefer" (natural monument) and the wayside shrine "Kreuzschlepper" - Findloser Berg - down through Findloser Wald back to Hilders .

By road

Hilders can be reached by car via the A7. Leave the autobahn at exit 92 Fulda-Mitte. Then drive onto the B458 in the direction of Hilders. When you reach the Hilders district of Batten, turn left towards Hilders. Turn right at the traffic light and do not follow the main road that bends shortly after, but instead turn left into Marienstrasse. Shortly afterwards you turn left into Kolpingstraße and you will find the public car park on the left-hand side.
