Distance 15.8 km
Accompanied by the streams of the Els and Sonder - partly through extensive meadows and fields, partly through forest - it goes from village to village. Elderberry plantations, blooming white in spring, with dark fruits in summer, regularly line the path. In Weisbach there is the possibility to visit one of the traditional wood carver. Pay a visit to the shepherd in Ginolfs - he sells delicious Rhön sheep products and other regional specialties in his shop. Back in Oberelsbach, a detour to the mini golf course rounds off the day.
A variety of excellent restaurateurs invite you to stop for a break along the way. Enjoy Rhön specialties such as Rhön trout and Rhön sheep!

Safety information
The tourist routes of the Rhön are mostly used by other active people (hikers, mountain bikers, cyclists, walkers, riders, cross-country skiers, etc.)We ask all active nature sports enthusiasts to show consideration for one another. The same applies of course to nature - it is worth protecting. In the Rhön, therefore, nature sports should only be practiced in daylight on designated paths and areas.
