A hike to wayside shrines, a GDR guide tower and other church monuments. Especially in spring, the flora offers a lot of impressive things for hikers.

From Rasdorf through the idyllic valley to Bornmühle and then uphill past ancient wayside shrines to Point Alpha. From here on the patrol road towards Setzelbach with a rest at a former GDR border tower. It continues through Setzelbach and then back to Rasdorf.

Author’s recommendation

A visit to the Point Alpha memorial is worthwhile.
