Around the Stallberg we count ten mountains: the Appelsberg, Rückersberg, Klein- and Gehilfersberg, as well as Wissels-, Stoppels-, Klein-, Mors-, Hellen- and Soisberg.
We sense the power of the volcanoes when we continue our hike through the light deciduous forests on the mountain slopes. Here we discover the typical Rhön rubble heaps. Powerful and wild, they pile up to form a grandiose scenery.
Großentaft and Rasdorf follow the Rhön wilderness. Typical Rhön hospitality awaits us here on this varied extra tour. The pilgrimage chapel on the Gehilfersberg near Rasdorf tells us even more stories. It marks the end of our hike.

The touristic paths of the Rhön are mostly used by other active people (hikers, mountain bikers, cyclists, walkers, riders, cross-country skiers, etc.)We ask all active nature sports enthusiasts to show consideration for one another. The same applies of course to nature - it is worth protecting. In the Rhön, therefore, nature sports should only be practiced in daylight on designated paths and areas.

Public transport
Der Startpunkt der Extratour ist nicht direkt an das öffentlichen Verkehrsnetz angeschlossen. Die Extratour verläuft allerdings durch den Ort Großentaft, in dem sich eine Bushaltestelle befindet. An dieser Bushaltestelle sind folgende Linien der LNG Fulda angeschlossen:
- Linie 78 Ortsbus Eiterfeld: Buchenau - Arzell - Eiterfeld
- Linie 80: Schulverkehr Eiterfeld: Eiterfeld - Ufhausen - Großentaft - Eiterfeld - Steinbach - Burghaun - Langenschwarz
By road
Die Extratour Kegelspiel kann über die A7 angefahren werden. Die Autobahn verlässt man über die Ausfahrt 90 Hünfeld Schlitz und folgt der St3176 in Richtung Hünfeld. Man fährt kurz vor Hünfeld in Richtung Bad Hersfeld auf die B27 und verlässt diese kurz später auf der B84 in Richtung Rasdorf. Diese verlässt man in Richtung Großentaft und erreicht kurz darauf den Wanderparkplatz Stallberg und somit den Eintstieg in die Extratour Kegelspiel.Parking
