Getting there

Wanderparkplatz Ellenbogen

The hiking car park can be accessed via the A7, among other things. To do this, leave the autobahn at exit 92 Fulda-Mitte and drive onto the B458 in the direction of Hilders. Follow the road until you reach the village of Batten. Here you turn right at the T-junction in the direction of Ehrenberg-Wüstensachsen. In the village of Seiferts, turn left in the direction of Birx/Frankenheim and Hochrhönstraße. Shortly after leaving the town, turn left in the direction of Frankenheim/Birx. After leaving Frankenheim, shortly after entering a forest, you will reach the turn-off to Ellenbogen. Follow this and a short time later you will reach the Ellenbogen hiking car park.
