The circular trail can be reached via two connecting trails. You have the choice of getting to the circular route from the Guckas Pass via the connecting trail of the same name, or of reaching this circular trail from the Kissinger Hütte via the trail that gives it its name.

Once arrived, you embark on a beautiful tour through a forest of the Black Mountains. On the western foothills of the Feuerberg you can enjoy the winter landscape of the Rhön in peace and quiet away from major roads,

Author’s recommendation

Regardless of the starting point, a stop at the Kissinger Hütte is worth a stop.
